legalizeing Marijuana is it a pluss for you?

what do ya'll think about legalizieing marijuana, i have to say that i think it should be a big pluss for thouse that are hurting and stressed in life and to thoughs that want to mellow the heck out. (me one of them) so what do you think about it, do you smoke or am i the only bbw that smokes these days.????

However when posting on an issue like the legalization of marijuana it should be in ones best interest to make sure you spell and word things correctly. Most of the comments hear are based on fear and ignorance. Cannabis prohibition works about as well as alcohol prohibition. It does not curb use. It just makes criminals out of the people who do. It has been proven to be one of the safest vices available, but too many corporate barons are making a killing on the more deadly 'legal' ones, and paying off the politicians to kepp the status quo. The Founding Fathers of the United States were all cannabis farmers and smokers. It's a shame their decendants can't get it together to work out their own current problems. I had one day last year when the smoke from my neighbors was so awful that I got a headache...sitting in my apartment with the door shut. I had to shut the window so I could breathe. Because if they start mass producing it then all we'd get a regs and middiez and no one likes those. And Dealers could sell out of the head shops and it would be taxed that way its a win win for everyone. Plus by making it able to be grown it would help slow global warming because think of all the new plants that would be planted. Lastly there would be more space in prisons and jails for the real criminals and we could spend more time trying to find them instead of wasting time on weed dealers. ( I did a persuassive speech on this and it kinda shows) Now from my stand point as a smoker there be alot happier people in the world. What I would think is a more realistic goal is for the Gardaí to stop prosecuting people caught with small amounts of the stuff. If they don't want to profit from the tax windfall, thats their own business.. but I'd like to be able to walk down the street with a little bit of hash or weed in my pocket without fear of earning a criminal prosecution. I think it should be handled like others drugs like alcohol, where you shouldn't be able to smoke it in public.. or drive whilst stoned. These are just common sense really

If you ask most any Gardaí, Police Officer, Cop, whoever... they will tell you that Marijuana is not the real problem out there. Far more people comsume alcohol than marijuana and therefore it's negative effects are obviously going to be more widespread and apparent. Thats quite a bit, and its a recreational drug as apposed to drinking every weekend with your boys unless your going to factor in just how many Americans are true drunks. Marijuana is so widely used and the statics released by the... fuck the people drug alcahol and tobacco people, whatever there name was, the statistics clearly show that Marijuana is 86% less lethal go ahead and check the facts, WEED IS GOOD! The only reason its banned right now is because some fuckin republican, in a last ditch effort to win over a nation, brought forth a "save your children from the horrible new drug" campaign. Now this was some time in the 1800's early 1900's and we are still saying its dangerous because we are a country of sheeple. Quit listening to your friendly neighborhood politician, go out and but a fat sack, and see how it makes you feel, go drive you car afterwards and see if it makes you see double, or slows your reflexes to the point you might run over a small child. Does it make you angry? Does it make you want to beat your wife and kids? Do you smoke so much that you cannot walk a straight line? no no no no no... well sometimes the walking a straight line. We're saying it's dangerous because it is. If I can get a headache from someone else smoking it from the floor above me, I don't even want to know what it would do to me if I was ever stupid enough to use it myself.
