Comment by Steve on May 20, 2008 at 4:53am: Jones Beach Air Show, May 24-25 2008. This is a great event and its always nice to spend the day on the beach. This year the US Navy Blue Angels will be the headliners. They can fly the wings off their F-18 Hornets. There will also be a F22 Raptor stealth fighter performing maneuvers in the air that defy conventional thinking when you think of what a fighter jet can do. Numerous other performers include the Army parachute team, WWII airplanes, aerobatic planes, helo rescue demo...and it is rumored that the V22 Osprey will be in the area. Come on out and enjoy the airshow and the day.
