About Me

A bit about me..

I've just finished a college course, and am hoping to find a job in my area of study. In the meantime I'm working in retail, pretty random hours, days, evenings, weekends. So a decent amount of freetime is hard to come by. I enjoy my job on most days, so it's not too bad.

I have a dog and a fish. My dog is awful, and impossible to train, but he's adorable and I love him even though he peed on my shoes once, and has chewed the zippers on most of my sweaters. I usually forget I have a fish, because, honestly, I never expected Skittles to live as long as he has.. About a year and a half now..

I often get asked what I'm looking for off this site, and at this point, I honestly don't know. I guess the opportunity to meet people I wouldn't otherwise meet in my day to day life, perhaps make new friends, maybe find something more. I can't say I'm looking for anything in particular, because you usually find it when you're not exactly looking for it.

I enjoy most types of music. If it has a good beat and good lyrics, chances are I'll like it. I'm not the type of person where music defines my life. I mostly listen to country, and have a bit of an obsession with Keith Urban. I also enjoy music I can dance to, pop, techno, rap, r&b, rock, etc. Never have, and probably never will like heavy metal/screamo type music, too angry for my tastes.

I'm generally upbeat and happy, have a random and sarcastic sense of humor. Sometimes I'm the quiet one in the room, sometimes I'm the loudest. It all depends on who I'm with and what we're doing. It also kind of depends on how drunk I am..

In terms of partying, I don't go out often. When I do "party" I usually prefer to go to The Spike with some girlfriends and get a little rowdy. For the most part, I enjoy doing something low key with my friends, either playing board games, enjoying a movie, or pretending I don't suck at video games.

I'm a fat girl. If you don't like it, then please, move along. I'm not necessarily ecstatic about my physical appearance, but I am who I am. And that happens to be a fat girl, and I'm ok with it. I'm learning to love me, all of me, even the extra bits.

I don't know what else to say, so I suppose if you have any questions feel free to ask. I'll answer pretty much anything, unless I think you're being a di*k. I'm also kind if impressed if you read this whole thing. I didn't know what I was going to write, and ended up with quite a bit, apparently. So, thanks.

I'm Bored. Therefore, I Blog.

I have no clue what I'm going to talk about, but I have nothing better to do right now, so let's see where this takes me.

I'm finding that so many more people are blogging on Chatzone then there used to be. I remember posting a blog, and finding a week later that it was still the most recent posted blog. It used to be much easier to keep up with the blogs written on here when there were only a handful of regular updaters.
