Do Guys Hit On Us Just Cuz They Think We're Desperate?

I was talking to a guy that I went out with not long ago. We were discussing the BBW dances here in Atlanta, and everywhere, for that matter. He said he had attended a few. He also said that the guys he talked to were bragging on how many "babes they had bagged" and that it's easy pickins because BBWs are so desperate and appreciative. This pissed him off, and it didn't do much for me, either?

So tell me...is that why you men like us so much? I, for one, think I'm all that and a bag o' chips, and I don't need to sleep with someone to boost my ego. If I do, it's because I want to and find them attractive AND I figure that I may have some sort of future with them.

I want the woman's point of view on this as well.

If I told them I was dating someone new, the first words out of their mouth would be, OK, how big is she? It got me down knowing that I was the brunt of jokes but in the long run, I was happy with the person I was with. It's a real shame that people do make judgements like this. Oh sure we all have our issues with ourselves but the ones who whine and complain and bitch and moan about em the most are the "average" girls. They fret more over the vanity five pounds than the fact that they are unhealthily, if that's a word, skinny. I have gone on dates with more BBW ladies and had more fun just hanging with you wonderful beauties than anyone else.

So whatever anyone thinks or says to you know this one thing, there are those of us who appreciate and yes admire you for who you are, not what you look like. They do think that we are easy pickins...because there are a lot of us that have low self esteem and are easily duped because they want to badly to be loved.

There are quite a few that would sleep with a BBW, but would not be caught dead in public around their friends with one. Face it...people can be cruel. However, there are a lot of guys out there that TRULY like BBW's. High self esteem seems to keep the imposters away...so don't settle ladies...demand respect from yourself...and others.; ▶ Reply to This

I hit on and date women I personally feel attracted to. Attraction for me is based more on personality than appearance. I like a woman who I share interests with, can hold a conversation with, that doesn't think they are better than everyone else. My experience though is that I tend to be more attracted to BBW, and that they are more accepting of others as they are. I have always been proud of whomever I have dated no matter what anyone else has said about them.; ▶ Reply to This

We "seemed" to be heading fora meeting (he was in California and I was in Georgia). Then one day he flipped out on me and started all that abuse ....I was thinking WTF? I have high standards and am very choosy, and I think that a man is lucky as hell to get someone as pretty, intelligent, and trustworthy as me. Love yourself....; ▶ Reply to This

No front being put on like these skinny mal-nutritioned idiots who call themselves women. I am 44 and have always appreciated the HONESTY & TRUTHFULLNESS I have gotten from BBW's . Most men nowadays are immature jerks, they don't understand what CHILVARY is or too spend time with a woman for reasons other then having sex. Most guys I know don't realize the Intelligence of a woman her passion for life or a great smile with a great laugh and a true sense of the real world. In other words a TRUE WOMAN. You young guys next time you are driving by a BBW don't make fun or laugh at them instead take some time and get too know the person for whom she is and trust me 10 out of 10 times you will be happier getting to know her as a person and what makes her tick then before you know it you will learn what you have been missing for yrs. It is obvious that you have no esteem issues if you think that you are all that and the chips, so don't let that comment take you off of your game.
There are some honest men out there who truly love BBW's and the ones that claim they don't and that they are taking advantage of somebody's desperation are the ones that are desperate and in the closet. You can't "get it up" if what is in front of you does not please you.
Just my opinion. You have to watch who you are dealing with and move forward only when you are comfortable... but you already know that.; ▶ Reply to This
