About Me:: I'm an English major and a senior at MSU. I enjoy writing, books, and I'm also into gaming like any proper college nerd -- be it video gaming, paper and pen, mmo, prose, etc. I also like classic rock, philosophy, and movies.

That's the short intro, I suppose. There's a lot for me. First of all, I'm not a typical chatroom bunny. I get nervous when I'm crowded by a lot of people, even online! But more importantly, I tend not to communicate with people who can't express themselves in complete sentences. Netspeak offends my sense of intelligence. I really don't think wanting coherency is asking for too much.

...That being said, I should probably bring up that I may come off as just a tad bitchy. What I am, actually is argumentative. I LOVE to debate; I love to be challenged. I'm looking for that in people -- I want to be around individuals who I can have fun with and grow intellectually with.

If the first line in the previous paragraph wasn't an indication, I am not offended by cursing if it doesn't occupy every other word in your vocabulary. There is such a thing as using curse words intelligently, and sometimes one just happens to be the right word to use. Like what I said up there. I try very hard to be open minded about a lot of things, but at this point, I really don't care if a person is offended by what I say. If I am not hurting them, or saying something against them, it is not my problem -- and it really shouldn't be theirs either. People should take the things that offend or confuse them and try to grow from the experience, not shield themselves from it.

Do I sound opinionated? I am. And I really am looking for a guy who rises to the challenge and isn't intimidated. Pushovers -- they make me sad. Like, I realize guys are taught these days to respect women, but that doesn't mean you should let a girl walk all over you either. (I don't think all guys are like this, either.) I fully believe that men have the right to be empowered, too, and honestly, I like a guy who wants to wear the pants in the relationship. I just -- wear pants, too. They're comfy. I like them. It's probably why I enjoy the relationship I'm in right now -- I'm not playing the "Mommy".

What I want? Chemistry. Real chemistry. Just being able to talk to somebody about anything and feeling comfortable about it -- it's a rare thing, you know?

Favorite Music:: I have fairly eclectic tastes, though I tend mostly toward classic rock -- and soundtrack music (it helps me write). My favorite band is Blues Traveler, though.

Favorite TV Shows:: Ohh, where do I begin? Venture Bros., Doctor Who, Arrested Development, My Name Is Earl, Sex and the City, House M.D., Carnivale, Family Guy, Futurama, Real Time with Bill Maher, King of the Hill, Law & Order: SVU, Lots of HG-TV stuff (I'm poor -- I fear I'll never live in a real house, so I fantasize about having my dream-house someday), South Park, etc etc etc.

Sorry, couldn't think of a catchy blog title. Hmm, what to talk about today? My experiences with the site thus far have been spectacular. Uhm, wow. No, seriously. Wow. BBW communities are a new thing for me, a very new thing.
